Sometimes along the path from childhood to adulthood we lose track of the mysteries and the joys of life that our children see so clearly.

Here are a few more rules of childhood.

Every journey is an adventure.

Every drum has to be struck.

Every conversation must contain more than one “why?”

Every bedtime must be resisted.

Every movie is better when viewed the 10th time (in one day)

Every toy is sad if you do not say goodnight to it

Every train ride is to die for

Every tree in the backyard requires a tree house

Every swimming pool is a toilet

Every bath is a toilet (see swimming pool)
